It turned up!

Hello friends.......long time no see! Just a quick post to say that the missing Aniversary card turned up a week late! better late than never! So here is that card.......and what was all the fuss about I hear you say..lol

The base card is Adorable Scorable and the stitched rectangle I think is Lawn Fawn from a snippet of Bazill cardstock. the rose is cut from pearlescent card from the left over box....it is a Penny Black die and I used a punch for the little heart in the same card.
As plenty of snippets were used I am heading to the playground to say hello.
I still can't join in the frolics sadly,(maybe I can sit on the side lines) but I am heading in the right direction...it just takes time and being a 'doer' I am perhaps a little.....no a lot.... on the impatient side. The craft room requires reaching, lifting, bending etc...all not allowed at present so don't know when I will get round to those Christmas cards....I know....I know..... I should have started last January!!

Hope all is good with all of you.....and if it isn't, then I hope things improve for you. I know there has been some sadness and difficulties out there in blogland.
Take care my friends and I thank each one of you that has left me love and good wishes in the way of comments. It is so much appreciated.Where would I be without my lovely blogging buddies! Mwah....
Sending big hugs

  3. A beautiful card and love the pastel colours. Glad to hear you are getting a bit better. As crafters, we can be very impatient. So put your feet up and read your craft magazines!! Rest is best!! Take care and hugs, Carol S.xx

  4. Oh Carole, this is beautiful! No wonder you were fretting when you thought it had gone astray! What a stunning die that is and of course your classy card does it full justice.

And don't fret over not being able to do as much as you'd hoped right now - the main thing is to recover fully - I promise you, we're more worried as crafters whether we manage to make Christmas cards than I suspect the recipients are. They would much rather know you're well again - and if they ain't - then why not?!?! Take it easy chick, I'm not patient when hoping to be 100% again either - but sometimes we need to be. Sooooooooo, big breath and just join me on the bench in the Playground, sharing a bag of sweeties and watching the others racing round - for sure one of them will join us for a spell. And then we'll run off into the whirling mayhem until it's time for another little rest or change of shift on the bench! :) We should probably sell tickets for turns on said bench - oh no, please don't tell me I can hear the rattling of a 'float' in your pocket?!?!

Take care and give yourself time

    Hugs

  16. Apologies galore for my tardy visit, dear friend! Time seems zipping by, and if it's not work and travel keeping me busy, then it's spending an entire weekend at a bike-racing officials course or actually going to races to officiate, or DT tasks ,or...blah, blah! All that is still NO excuse for not dropping by, so I hope you'll forgive me! Actually, being late does have a perk: it's rainy, gloomy and blustery here - all the components for a *meh* day - but your comments arrived and in zipping here to thank you, what a day-brightening treat appeared! Your anniversary card is gorgeous, Carole...and exquisite, elegant and classy! Such a lovely die cut and you've assembled it most 'cas-iliciously'! I agree with the others about taking time to fully recover. Sitting on the sidelines is perfect, even though I know you'd rather be 'doing, doing and doing' more! We're not going anywhere without you so...post when you can (updates, please), create when you're able, and visit whenever the mood strikes you. We love you...and that's what counts!
    Hugs~c
