I'm dashing in as usual at the last minute before we hit March and I miss some challenges.!
So straight to it......I am rather pleased with how these cards tuned out...yes plural as in 3!!!!! all in one afternoon! How did that happen? grab a cuppa (or drink responsibly) and read on....
Well sorting as I was, I came across some coloured cards and envelopes in lovely spring colours, then in the die cut box I found some die cut spring flowers waiting for some love (Joanna Sheen dies). I decide to have a go at stenciling a background so I found a Memory Box stencil in my stash that looked like trellis and out came the oxide inks and make up sponges!......No I didn't put any on my face!
Here are the results.......
Oh and the little bows are from ribbon cut from a new jumper!...The sparkle that brought the Muscara (above) to life was Stickles and it made a world of difference.
Entering a few challenges with these...it will probably take me another hour to do the linking. I have just spent 40 mins trying to get my pictures to load the right way up!
I hope you are all well, having a good week and enjoying some sunshine. Today has been glorious here again, very spring like but rain is promised for the weekend.!
If you see me at Stamparama at Harrogate this weekend, give me a nudge and say Hi.....I'm only going to buy some Glossy Accents!!.....hmm and the rest I expect.
Take care

Ooh, I love all of these, but especially the daffs - I really like the tulips, too. You've really used those die cuts well and the stencilling is wonderful. Gorgeous artwork :-)

Haha, you're only going to buy glossy accents! How well did you exercise restraint, Carole? I mean, I don't blame you, it's rude not to buy when they've gone to all the trouble of laying out their products for you!! I love your beautiful fresh design using these fantastic stenciled spring flowers! Great job making a threefer!! Hugs, Darnell
ReplyDeleteHiya, these are beautiful. I love stencilled backgrounds - note to self - do that more often! Well after a lovely few days it's howling wind and rain here today. So it's an in day for me and I'll let hubby drag a reluctant dog round the park!! I hope you enjoyed Harrogate, I stopped going to the craft show in Glasgow but may give it another chance this year. Take care, Liz xx
ReplyDeleteYour trio of cards are so lovely! The blooms make me wish for spring....so fresh and fun. AND now I'm going to dig out some flower dies after all this inspiration!
ReplyDeleteThese are fabulous I love the great designs. I'm so sorry I missed you on Saturday it was so crowded spent most of my time trying to avoid the crush of people and trying to get close to the stalls I only met Debra by accident when I passed her something she couldn't reach and realised it was her . I was lucky to see Sue in the coffee shop. My husband was amazed at how little I spent and I'm sure I came away with a few bruisesfor free .We must get better organised another time and wear a pink carnation !!! Love and hugs Carole X
ReplyDeleteI missed these Carole, you are right to be pleased with them they're fab I might have to try the stencilling.
