Black and White

Hi Friends! Where has this week gone? I am sure I am not alone when I say that a Bank Holiday throws all the days of the week out for me...the weekend seems to have arrived very fast this week! Anyway hope you all had a good Easter with lots of chocolate and perhaps some crafting. Me?  a little chocolate (trying to be good) and NO crafting....mojo seems to have gone on Easter hols and forgotten to come home...maybe it will return this weekend!

A Black and White card for a male this week. I think it is pretty self explanatory.

The sentiment stamp is Woodware and the 60 numbers are Papermania stamps, stamped and cut out and then a lot of Glamour dust added for the sparkle. The scalloped edge is a Spellbinder die. A style that can be adapted to suit a female done in different colours.
I am never thrilled at having to make male cards, like a lot of us....must be that men are hard to please? Having said that it is my eldest sons birthday next month...so here we go again!

Before I go I have to welcome my new follower ...thank you for joining me..and also a big thank you to all the people that have left such lovely comments on my blog.It really makes my day...and also reminds me that I am not just talking to myself! THANK YOU EVERYONE! so much.

OK...things to do......maybe that male card.......groan!...or the ironing? Which will win?...not much to choose between them...maybe the card is a better bet...but then the ironing will be started and finished ...the card? well I could still be sat thinking about what to do for that one next week!

Have a super weekend whatever you are doing.I am going in search of mojo!

Happy Easter

Hello friends, I hope this finds you all well and ready for the Easter break. It has turned cold and windy here today after a beautiful warm and sunny day yesterday, lets hope the sun puts it's hat back on for the weekend.
I was lucky enough o get to Ally Pally last weekend, it was good to go to a show down South and see some of the stands that rarely make it above Birmingham.......I spent way too much!!...but I had to justify going all that way didn't I??

OK on to the card..an Easter card...no surprise there then!
Sorry about the photo it just didn't turn out as it should and the card base is pale yellow/cream even though it looks white on the photo. It looks much better in the flesh so to speak.

I decided to give the gilding flakes an airing. I used Adorable Scorable card in a pale yellow/cream and stamped the Indigo-blu Easter egg in Flitter glue before applying  the flakes --Morris Dance.I pre dusted the card with an anti-static pad as it is glossy card.
Mounted on a thin border of gold mirri card and then on a base card made from the same Adorable Scorable (this does what it says on the tin and creases without the cracks).I am really pleased with how it turned out...the colours in the Morris dance gilding flakes are just so lovely.

Well I wish each and everyone of you a very Happy Easter, enjoy whatever you are doing...hope it includes eating lots of chocolate! Thank you so much for stopping by and for any comments you may be kind enough to leave me...it really makes my day!

Till next time crafty hugs xxx
