Autumn leaves

Hello friends.

A quick post today with an Autumn leaf theme..........

I die cut the leaves into a panel of linen textured card which was then raised on foam pads over the card base and a background painted with starlight paints.....love the sparkle on these. The outlines were edged with a fine liner pen as it just needed something more, and the sentiment stamp was from stash.
So there we have it..less time to write about than make!

The leaves here are very wet and soggy today....no sunshine and sparkling colours in them.

Thank you for popping in and your kind comments. Incidentally the catch up meal with eldest son didn't happen as Becky his partner was poorly.....postponed till next month...eek...nearly Christmas!

Hope you all had a good and safe bonfire weekend and that your week is going well.

  4. I {heart} your gorgeous autumn leaves, Carole! Stunning fall palette and the aperture design...happy sighhhh! No leaves in view here; rather, 8 inches of snow! NOT ready for winter but...guess there isn't an option. Too bad that the meet-up with your son and his partner had to be delayed; now, you'll have even more catching-up to do!

  5. OH wow Carole! This is so STUNNING! And do you know I actually thought the die cut leaves were stitched die cuts?! They look so real .. you did an amazing job on it! Hope you're doing well!

  8. Hi Carole

Catching up with the world a little at last!

I have been back-tracking on your blog to see what I have been missing .. .. you are been being busy and posting some lovely cards.

My embossing folder you made me fall in love with has arrived (woo hoo) so I shall be making good use of that ahead of the next wedding fayre in Jaunuary.

Loving your autumnn leaves card .. .. our leaves are very wet and soggy too at the moment although we do have a little early morning sunshine so hopefully that will stay around for a while.

Have a lovely Sunday and many thanks for your lovely comment.

    Love Jules xx
