Congratulations

Hi Friends ! I hope you are all safe and well.

Yes here I am at last with a post!

I made a card for a friends Anniversary ....................

Crafters Companion die and stamp and circle dies from stash. Backing paper oddments from the mountain pile! I put Glossy accents on the glasses after a bit of pale colouring.

While I was running with the idea...(as you know ideas are short on the ground right now.)..I made a couple more ........

Apologies for the poor photos...pearlescent card and light is a difficult one and the light recently has been poor since summer seems to have deserted us....my excuse anyway.

Thank you for stopping by and sticking with me and so many thanks for all your lovely messages of concern, love and support...the crafting community is such a lovely one to be a part of.....even when crafting evades us sometimes.

I hope your week is going well as we hurtle way too fast through another year of ups, downs and uncertainties. I hope to catch you all again soon.

Till then

Crafty hugs

Carole xx

  1. Summer does indeed seem to have deserted us Carole, I keep forgetting it's August each time I grab for another cardie.

A round card is always very pleasing on the eye and all three of these are very pretty in their varying colourways. I think many of us are the same in that if we find a design that works a few come off the production line, I know it's a system that works for me.

    Take care,

  3. Three lovely cards Carole. The pastel colours are beautiful. Great design for using on any occasion.
We have some lovely people in our blogs and they have been very kind to me. I have emails from them too. I had one today, asking about my sister that had a stroke. Sadly her husband had to call an ambulance this afternoon and they have taken her into the hospital. Still waiting to hear what is wrong with her.

So you stay safe Carole. We are all here to chat with if you want to. Big hugs, Carol xxxx

  4. A trio of beautiful celebratory cards, I love the sweet champagne flutes stamp with the bubbles and stars exploding from the cork pop. Nice to add some glossy accents to the glasses.

Yep I think you maybe right, Summer does seem to have retreated from the UK once again... its very shortlived.

I hope your keeping well and it's lovely to see you making and posting cards, stay safe and take care xx

  5. Beautiful cards Carole... I really like the shape and the glasses look great! Oh what a world we live in... such a shame and not even a decent summer to sit back and forget the struggles. Stay well and thanks so much for visiting me too.

  7. It's lovely to see you posting again Carole and I'm sorry that I seem to have previously missed this post. Your cards are lovely and such an unusual shape too. I absolutely agree with your comment left on my blog about people in blog land feeling like your friends. It's ironic that during the lockdowns, I spent way more time chatting to my crafty friends online than I did the friends that I usually see face to face and I guess that says it all! For this reason, I will carry on blogging as and when I can and for as long as my followers keep visiting. Take care and have a good weekend my friend x

  8. Sorry to be so late commenting on your beautiful shaped card design, Carole, and well done you for making a threefer while you were at it! It really is a beautiful romantic celebration design! I hope you are seeing more of Mr. Mojo peeking around the corner (or will do soon), although he is particularly evasive as this never-ending damnepic goes on and on. We have to go get him, kicking and screaming if need be, lol! I don't remember if I told you I got your lovely note and you're very welcome. Keeping you in my thoughts! Hugs, Darnell

  9. This is such a great design Carole and I agree that when you're on a roll, it's a good idea to make more for your stash! I love how they each look so differed depending on the colours and papers used.
    Have a good weekend.
    Take care.
