Hi Everyone! I do hope you are all well and have had a good weekend.
Saturday was a red letter day for me! I actually made...yes not just thought about... made...four Easter cards! That has to go in the diary as it usually takes me four weeks! Some were fairly quick.....in fact most of them when I think about it!...so here is one of them....NO ..I am not showing you all four at once, quick or not I have to save something to post or you may not see me for a long while :)
I just love lemon and purple together, it always says Spring to me, so that's my colour choice. The patterned background paper and the topper image are from LOTV ( sadly no longer available). I embossed the scrap of lemon adorable scorable with a cuttlebug folder that has been in my possession along time! The stamped greeting was from a freebie set that I had in my stash.....obviously from a magazine at some time, ribbon, sparkle and flowers also from stash.
This card probably took the longest to make!...and perhaps that was my reason for the rest being quick and easy (not that this one was difficult!)
So we start another week, with the promise of Easter and an hour less in bed/crafting. This year has not slowed down any for me...has it you? Ca't believe April is fast approaching...yikes!
Just to finish I can't resist being the proud Grandma again and showing you the latest picture my son sent me of Thomas who is 6 weeks old now! ...time flying again! (sorry to bore you)...look away if I am! (boring you that is).
Almost a smile there I think! :)
I'll be back later in the week with another Easter card (she says smuggly). Till then enjoy your week and keep smiling!
Hugs Carole xx
P.S. Popping to the Playground with this card....all snippets from the box...large and small! I want to see if there are any creme eggs hidden!!

So you should be a proud Grandma Carole. Thomas is a lovely little boy. It's amazing that six weeks has passed already.

Loving the Easter card and congrats on making FOUR. Aww, your little Grandson is just so cute - you carry right on being a proud Grandma.
ReplyDeleteHmmm, an Easter Egg hunt in the Playground . . . that's a good idea. In the After School Hooch Club we're making little boxes for our Creme Eggs xxx
Wonderful card Carole but Thomas steals the show he's just delightful enjoy they grow so fast love and hugs Carole x
ReplyDeleteThis is a great Easter snippets card, Carole! I love the classic spring colors and the layout design! Thank you for sharing another photo of Thomas! Goodness, he looks like a much older gentleman than just six weeks doncha think? Surely, he must be seven weeks! No, no, don't even think that - it goes by too fast as it is!! BTW, I'll take more ... you could never bore me with baby photos!! Hugs, Darnell
ReplyDeleteHi Carole
ReplyDeleteA great Easter card. Love your colours and I am trying hard not to look at those faux stitched dies!! Too many fabby things out there at the moment.
But of course the star of your post has to be your gorgeous Grandson. He is adorable!
Have a good day.
Sorry I am a bit of a stranger these days. Life is just so busy .. .. but exciting!!
Love Jules xx
PH MY GOSH! How handsome is your darling Thomas, with those bright eyes and that wee hint of a smile! I predict he'll be a going concern once he becomes mobile...in the cutest of ways, of course! Keep those photos coming; he's a smile-maker in my world! Oh...and yes, I notice you made a card *grin* (sorry, Thomas distracted me!) Your snippets creation is sensational; the spring colours, the sweet image, the layout. Yep: love it!!
ReplyDeleteHugs and love~c
Four cards! You have been very busy! I love the lemon and lavender together too. Your card is so pretty, and I love the embossing. Your lil grandbaby sure is a sweetie!!!
ReplyDeleteThings have been a bit scatterbrained here as my Dad's been in hospital so I'm really glad Di showed us the gorgous photo of Thomas over in the Playhouse. He really is such a darling. I can't believe how quickly the time has gone and I'm getting quite a collection of photos and video clips of Asher but still longing for a cuddle.
ReplyDeleteLove the super easter card too xx
So gorgeous. I love it when the teddy is bigger than the baby, you look back and can't believe it was so. Oh yes, and the card is yummy too. Great spring colours as you say.
