Par-Tee time.

Hello!!!!! yes it's me............and fingers crossed a repaired computer. We are on our 3rd hard drive since last September! so hoping it is 3rd time lucky! Boy how you miss these things.

So how are we all...good I hope. I have been having a sneak at your blogs and my what wonderful work all my blogging friends create....you really do put me to shame.I often think how wonderful it would be to all be able to get together and craft, the things we would learn from one another and the fun we would have......oh and the wine..............sorry tea and coffee we would all get through............lol.

OK on with the sons Birthday card. A golfing theme was the order of the day this year...these birthdays seem to come round a lot more than once a year...do you find that?

I cut an aperture in a 6x6 inch card and kept the circle for inside. On another piece of card I inked a background with distress inks...Mowed Lawn and Broken China and mounted that behind my aperture........yes a bit of a hilly golf course..........can you tell I don't play?........... then I lined the inside with another piece of card so it was neat.
The golfer is a LOTV image stamped and coloured with copics (quite a challenge I have to say) and I fussy cut him out. The little golf buggies, bag and clubs are Memory Box (so cute) and the clouds are Joy dies. The sentiment was computer generated on a self made tag and I added the faux stitching and the golf balls are candy that I indented with a small embossing tool and coloured with a light grey copic.

Are you still with me?.............then I shall continue............with a close up of the golfer

and the inside............

His present was money for a new golf bag...bet he doesn't buy a blue one!

Well it's good to be back among friends so if you have popped in.....thank you and please give me a wave and leave a comment so I know I am not alone.

Enjoy the rest of your week folks..............weather still mixed here in west Yorkshire, sunny, rainy and very windy!
Take care and keep safe and well.
See you soon (I hope)
Hugs
Carole xx

Challenges entered.................now that's a challenge in itself as my list disapeared in the computer hitch.....so will have to start again. Grrr.
Please let me know if you know of any current ones my card may fit!

This part of West Yorkshire started off sunny today, but changed to very blustery and cold. Strange weather isn't it!

  8. Carole, you've created a most fabulous golf card for you son...a hilly course (I don't play either, so I think your hills are scenery-splendid!), some marvelous stamped cards and bag and...ta dahhh...the star of the show, the golfer! He's a little work of art all on his own! Son-perfect in my world, my friend! And I know your Andrew (my husband's name, too, though we call him by the short version) adored it, as do I. Yes, getting together for a major craft-and-wine session would be awesome! On my wish list!
