Lost and found (or not)

Hi friends!
Well I say it again...here we are at the end of another week ...gone in the blink of an eye...along with another month! the weather in this part of the world is a mixture of rain, wind, sunshine and its blooming cold too! Still not got out the sandals, and rid of the socks and jumpers!

OK weather bulletin over...........crafting............mmmmmmmmmmm a tad thin on the ground this week. Life just keeps getting in the way and I seem to spend more time thinking than executing. I did however manage another CAS card...a quickie, using a Clearly Besotted set that I thought was rather different called..........mmm.........senior moment here.........ah got it!.....'In print'

Here it is

Nothing very original in design I guess but cute frogs. The googly eyes...well I knew I had them...somewhere....spent 30 mins plus and I could not find them...where on earth could they be?...I could see them in my mind...... look again Carole...so I did...back to the start ...and yes there they were in the first place I had looked ,tucked away in a poly bag! The only trouble is that set me off also looking for some wooden flowers and snowflakes that I know I have...the ones in a little box, you know the ones....can't find them anywhere....might just have to misplace something else in order to find them!

On the subject of 'lost'...update on the diamond...hubby knows every inch of the carpets and floors in the house...his knees are telling him so...but alas no diamond, so the said ring is now with the jewellers awaiting a decision on repair.

Do hope you all have a fabulous weekend whatever you are doing. We are meeting up with some dear friends for a long catch up after we have visited Bolton Arena (GBCF) for an elbow jostling session no doubt...so if you see me...elbow me and say hi! There is not much I need really...till I get there that is...and it would be silly to pay for a ticket and not buy anything now wouldn't it!  :)

Take care my friends, and keep safe and well and hopefully see you next month. Thanks for stopping by and leaving me kind words...you are all so wonderful..............was it Dame Edna that said...'I love you all'.

  4. I love reading your blog, as you are such fun. You make me feel a lot better too. I am always saying that there are fairies in my craftroom, as I am always losing things. It's worse after I have tidied my room! Loving your cute card and the frogs are so sweet. Brilliant!. Hugs, Carol S.xx

  6. Your posts are an absolute blast, Carole! It's like two old friends (not in age, because I know we're young 'uns!) having a chit chat on the phone, or over a coffee (coffee with you would be a dream come true!). I'm giggling at your hunt for the googly eyes, which landed you in another pursuit. Sounds like the way my crafting's been of late - look for this, look AT that - perpetual disorganized! And the more 'thinking' rather than executing...yep! Given my postage sized craft zone, you'd laugh yourself silly that I ever misplace anything...but it's true! The smaller the area, the greater the likelihood of things being under this, that or the other thing. In fact, I discovered, in the kitchen sink, no less, a wee leaf stamp; can't figure out which set it belongs to, so...it's just hanging out near one of my wee baskets, sure to be misplaced yet again! Your trio of frogs: pure delight! I have that set and *ahem* confess to it being pretty much still brand new! Eeek! Thanks for reminding me about it; need to give those wee critters some love and attention. Your missing diamond...darn! I'd so hoped it would reappear, but good to know your ring is at the jewelers. Oh yes...Addicted to CAS has an animal challenge right now, and i think, after a quick peek at the gallery, your little froggies would fit most wonderfully. Hippety hop over to see: http://addictedtocas.blogspot.ca/2015/05/challenge-64-animal.html
Hugs and love headed your way...and hopefully some sunshine and warmer temps, too!
