Well actually all you need is 'love ' from Uniko and a heart die from 'The Works', card and a fine liner pen and away you go!
It was a bit fiddly paper piecing all those red hearts I have to say!
I will dedicate this card to all you lovely people who spare the time to stop by my blog, and especially those who leave me 'love' in the form of a comment. Your time and 'love' is so very much appreciated. Mwah
I hope this finds you all safe from floods, gales and anything else life and this world may throw at you...and fit and well too. If you are under the weather or having problems I hope you soon feel better.
As I have said before the days are whippng past us again too quickly BUT ...take heart the days are getting longer..(here in the UK anyway), the daffs are reminding us that Spring is here despite what the weather dictates. SO SMILE everyone and spread a bit of 'love' ...then we can all feel ready for anything!
See you again soon

Fabulous CAS card, Carole. I love the beautiful heart die, looks great with all those red hearts inlaid. xx
ReplyDeleteI love reading your posts Carole. They always make me smile and to top that, you always have such gorgeous makes. This card was just one of these too. Lots of patience with the paper piecing!! But the end result is stunning. Have a happy week. Big hugs, Carol S.xxx
ReplyDeleteNicely done, paper piecing always looks lovely but urgh does it take awhile and why is it we always loose a piece, recut another one only to find the original piece... or does that only happen to me? Great card, stay safe Carole x
ReplyDeleteSuch a lovely post Carole, very uplifting.. Your card is beautiful as always. Thank you for your message hopefully we can catch up soon :)
ReplyDeleteLove sis xx
Ditto on the weather Carole, it seems ever ending we all need some sunshine and warmth. Super paper piecing and such a striking card.

Hi Carole
ReplyDeleteGlad to see I am not the only one who haunts "The Works" LOL!! Mum loves wandering around there .. .. and invariable I walk out with something crafty!! I have no willpower where their crafty goodies are concerned!
Your card is gorgeous .. .. and super neat as always! Did your hubby receive more than one valentine card this year by any chance?
I love paper piecing die-cuts. A bit like a jigsaw for crafters!
Hope you are having a good week.
Love Jules xx
Awww . . . A card full of hearts . . . Fantastic.
ReplyDeleteFed up with the weather, but Spring is on its way. Xxx
Clever patient girl with that paper piecing!
ReplyDeleteWind, sunshine, rain, snow, more sunshine, hailstones - and that's just the last 2 hours!!! x
Super card Carole and the heart die is fabulous. Really must take myself off to The Works one day but it is tiny and always so packed in there that you literally have no place to stand and look at what there is... it's a case of follow the leader round the aisles and out the door! xx
ReplyDeleteLove this card Carol - so crisp and stylish! The doodled frame is a perfect finishing touch.
ReplyDeleteHope you are having a good weekend!
Hugs

Pretty card...I just love the heart die!!
ReplyDeleteWe've been really lucky compared to some so I'm counting my blessings! Beautiful card Carole and I love the doodles!
ReplyDeleteMight have been fiddly but so worth it, it's gorgeous! We have brightened up a little here, well for today anyway! A touch of spring in the air and the crocuses are out. All we need to worry about now is the dreaded virus, here's hoping it doesn't pan out to be as bad as they are predicting. I might just self isolate in the crafty room! Take care, Liz xx
ReplyDeleteOops I thought I'd already left you a comment on this but obviously had a senior moment! It's a super card and the heart die is gorgeous xx
