Anniversary time again!

Hi Friends..I am here at last. Where does the time go? Once again life has got in the way in it's various guises and here we are hurtled in to the middle of August!...a VERY wet and windy August here in the UK I hasten to add.

It's another Anniversary card..not for us this time and THANK YOU all for your good wishes on hubby's and mine Anniversary last month. We hit the heatwave in LLandudno (Wales) for a few days....extremely lucky with the weather!

and the inside..

Apologies for the shadows in the photos.

This was made with a Crafters Companion stamp and outline die set. I embossed the image with WOW champagne sparkling powder, coloured with copics and added a touch of Glamour dust to the bubbles for a bit more bling. I used some pale peach card to line the inside of the card so that it shows on the edge when the card is closed. The sentiments are from my stash, stamped and embossed in the same twinkling powder.

Whatever you are doing this weekend I hope you enjoy it. See you around folks...hopefully not too long till next time!
Take care
Crafty hugs and love

  5. Beautiful card. Happy belated Anniversary, you were indeed lucky weatherwise, that's a trick this year, summer has been awful here. Feels more like autumn!
We managed a few days away in Northumberland, lovely area, the poor weather meant more pub lunches!! Take care, Liz x

  7. Congratulations Carole - to both of you! What a lovely card this is. And, I did laugh at your comment about changing my name - 'Hi Di' always sounds a bit odd. Len always calls me Diane - my full name of course. Depending on the tone, I know whether it's good or bad news :) Tee, hee :)

  10. The weather certainly changed since you wrote this post! It's been all or nothing this summer and I'm sat in front of the fan at the moment and really hoping it will soon cool down - I was such a sun worshipper when I was younger but not so much now, I'm getting old :(
Love this card, this stamp and die set would be a useful one to have in my stash and can think of quite a few occasions it could be used for. I like how you've used the extra sparkle to enhance the bubbles :)
    Enjoy your week
