1st Birthday

Hello friends! I hope you all had a lovely Easter and certainly the UK had some glorious weather...sadly this week long forgotten. I hope that wasn't our summer!
The last two weeks for me have been written off suffering from a bout of bronchitis and a chest infection!...where do these things come from? Hopefully on the mend now and then I will feel more like getting in the craft room and creating.

Yesterday was our Granddaughters 1st Birthday so I am sharing my card that winged it's way to Australia a few weeks ago now to be sure it made it. I trust it did! Apart from the animals I kept it pretty much one dimensional due to postage.

I can't believe it is almost the end of April though everyone you speak to says how the year is flying by.....and I for one right now feel like I am wasting it! Will I ever get the time to use that NBUS stuff?...and will I ever not be tempted to add to my stash?...probably not!

Hope to be around to see your creations this week...and maybe add to my own too.
Happy crafting.
Hugs
Carole xx

  7. Awww! What a cute and gorgeous card for your little granddaughter! I am happy to hear that you are feeling better too... I read pineapple juice is good for coughs and bad chests and it worked for my brother and my friend... I hope you are back to full fitness soon...

  10. I'm glad you're feeling better Carole - chest infections make you feel so low! The cute card you made for your granddaughter brings a smile though - those animals are so sweet and I love the balloons flying high.

  12. I'm sorry to read that you've not been very well Carole and I hope that you'll soon be on the mend. I too have an horrendous cough at the moment which is annoying the life out of me during the night. I was up for a Lemsip at 2am this morning and then couldn't get back off to sleep. Let's hope we soon get some warmer weather to get rid of all these nasty bugs. Your card is beautiful and I'm sure that your Granddaughter will treasure it. My heart goes out to you knowing you can't just give her a cuddle when you want to. I'm sure that FaceTime or Skype will help, as I know that it really does with my friend who has both her boys living in Australia. Take care and get well soon. Crafty hugs, Sandra x
