Just whizzing by...busy week...hubby on holiday from work!...but I thought you might like to see the creation that I made with my pink prize from the other week.
Apart from the 'Thank You' stamp everything was from the 'prize'. The stamp is a Stamping Bella and I coloured her with copics. The card is winging its way to the sender of my prize..thought she might like a bit of 'Happy Mail' too! Hope it arrives safely.
As I type this my hubby is up a ladder cleaning out the gutters!!! Makes me cringe him up there! I am OK if the height is enclosed as was the glass floor in the Tower Bridge and on Tuesday we were in Liverpool and did the wheel! FABULOUS views! I can feel your fear from here judging the comments on my Tower post!........
.....for those of a nervous disposition...LOOK AWAY NOW!
So next week will be back to earth ! as it will be for lots of people with the kids back to school and the holidays past...Autumn looms, the nights are drawing in and the big C is on the horizon!!
Depressed enough yet?...well think of the cosy crafting evenings instead!
Right lunch required for the worker so best go and look busy...well I am busy talking to my friends , but I am sure you know what I mean...........so see you next week and have a good weekend everyone.
Thank you for calling in and for all the lovely comments that you leave me...I appreciate every one.
Crafty hugs
Carole xx
PS. Thought I might just squeak into Darnells NBUS 7 challenge with my card as almost everything on this card is new ...so never before used!
Such a fab card! I love the stamping bella image, and you just reminded me I have that rose paper somewhere... really must dig it out, because it's soooo lovely.
ReplyDeleteLove the pictures of the view too. Luckily I have no problem with heights :-) x
Such a pretty card Carole. I am afraid I do not like heights. I could not have gone up on the wheel.
ReplyDeleteFabulous card Carole and lots of lovely pinkiness. Super photos but no way would you get me up there! Counting down the days now and I'm so excited, only four more to go for my cuddles xx

Gloriously pink! It's a great image. You must have had amazing views from the wheel. I do like a good view as long as I can't see through what I'm standing on.

You are afraid of Mr. D up on a ladder and yet you go up in the Wheel??? I would pass on the high adventure, thank you, but I sure enjoyed the pictures, especially since now I've been to Liverpool and recognize those buildings! Thank you for bringing back those memories. Already my trip seems like sooo long ago. It's a shame that happens so quickly. I love your sweet thank you card for your prize goodies! A certain someone will love receiving pretty pink happy mail from you! Since your card was mostly all NBUS, I'm glad you remembered to pop in and enter my NBUS Challenge #7! Hope all is going well with the workers! Hugs, Darnell
ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty card Carole and the image has it all really, coffee, cake and a book would suit me down to the ground right now. Speaking of down to the ground - I hope your Hubby got down safely.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty in pink card made with your prize. Thanks for taking me for a spin on the wheel!
ReplyDeleteHugs, Sarn xxx
Ah - I am homesick!! Lovely skyline of my home city. Pretty card too Carole - thanks for commenting and continuing to visit whilst I have been doing my Presidential team duties - appreciate that you haven't deserted me! x
ReplyDeleteLove your pretty pink card! Such a cute charm, too. WOW what an amazing view...gorgeous photo's!
ReplyDeleteMy wonderful Carole! Here I am, woefully behind, with blame placed solely on the shoulders of work, bike races, DT tasks and, the #1 culprit of all: my disorganization, that appears to be worsening! Thank you for bearing with me! Your card is a pretty pink delight; a charming way to thank the sender of said prize! She'll be...dare I say it (yes, I dare), tickled pink! Heights and I do not get along! Ladders, alone, scare the bejeebers out of me, so the mere thought of that ginormous ferris wheel...oh my word! Your bravery outweighs mine completely! Still, the vistas are incredible...so maybe...nope, forget it! I'd be awaiting you on the ground, excited to see the photos you snapped from up on high...
