'Granddaughter'

Hi Friends.
Hope this finds you all fit and well and enjoying your week so far.

I made this card for a friend who's daughter has just had a little girl.... Daisy, hence the word I wrote in fine liner round the flower. The image is a 'Forever Friends' that I have had in my stash a good while, and I coloured with Copics. The obligatory Glamour dust was added to the butterfly! The paper is from an old 'Tea House' pad ...again it's been hanging around a good while!.........and that's it really.

We had a good time in London last weekend and the weather was really good too! It was lovely to see Thomas (and his mum and dad of course) and despite the heat he was so good as we walked around. We visited Tower bridge and just after we had walked over it...this happened....

certainly a Wow moment for us and the 'icing on the cake'!
We then went in the bridge and on to the glass walkways...........

Truly a weird sensation looking down and not good if you don't like heights!

Thank you for calling in on me and for all the lovely comments that you leave me.
Take care
Hugs
Carole xx

  4. Super cute card and love the detail. I lived in London for years and never had the courage to go on the bridge, as I don't like heights. Hugs, Carol S.xx

  5. Oh this is really pink and pretty. You are very brave to write on the card by hand. Also to walk over that glass bridge. I don't think I could do that. So glad you enjoyed your weekend.

  9. I'm just having a lovely catch up Carole after a few weeks off. I'm enjoying looking at everyone's gorgeous makes, there is such a variety of work on my rounds!

I love London, there's so much to see but I don't think I'd like to live there - everyone seems to do everything at 100 miles an hour!!
This is an adorable card. I LOVE how you've written the name by the flower, that's a really sweet idea that I may have to steal!!

  14. Oh my..your baby card is incredibly adorable! Daisy's mom and dad will adore it now, and once she's older, I can just imagine the glee all over her face when she realizes it was 'specially made, just for her'. Sweetness to the 9th degree! Your bridge photos: ACK! Heights and I are NOT a good combination, so I'm applauding your courage! I like my feet on the ground...best for everyone *grin*
