@@@@@@@@@

Hi there friends! ....Yes it's me....good to see you all............I am just popping in with a quick make that I did for Son's Birthday last week......and then forgot to photograph!!!! Doh!...silly me. Anyway son has sent me a picture ...here it is......

To be perfectly honest I do not feel that it is one of my best, but as I have nothing else to blog at present....this is it! It speaks for itself. The die is a Marianne die with a few accompanying stamps one of which I used for the @ (glad that symbol is on the PC) sign. Looks like it got a bit damaged in the post too! My mojo is lacking at present unfortunately so I struggled to make this as it seemed such an effort............anyway son says he liked it and at least it arrived for the day this time (unlike the anniversary card).

I have been doing some crafty bits while watching a bit of craft on the telly...a bit of knitting....baby cardigan.....I have reached the sewing up bit which I hate so that is at a halt......and I have also sat and made a few of the pine cones that I did last year and you will see back in the archives of my blog somewhere.
As for the Christmas cards...NO still none done ......but..........Hubby has put all the Christmas crafty things on the bed in the spare room so I do not have to lift heavy boxes etc, so that when the urge strikes (wish it would hurry or it will be next year!) I can get going.......The mind is willing!!

I have been visiting all your lovely blogs and seeing all your wonderful creations....what a talented bunch of friends I have who put me to shame!

Thank you so much for stopping by and continuing  to spur me on with your messages of love.....I am so grateful for every one and glad to say I am tons better now thank you..........still a bit to go till full pelt but I consider that there is always someone out there who is worse off and if that happens to be you today...then I hope life gets better for you quickly.

Right enough waffle and apologies for the not so inspiring post............well done if you are still reading this! Hopefully it will not be 3 weeks again before I post...sigh...I must get card making again!

Till next time...please keep popping by as I shall stop to see your fantastic works of art.
Take care and 'Happy Halloween' to all of you that are into it! (sorry it doesn't really float my boat).
An extra hour in bed this weekend for those in the UK as the clocks go back..........yippee for the hour but I hate the dark nights.

Hugs and love
Carole xx

  2. I'm wearing a beaming smile at seeing your post AND with a card! A most handsome and striking bloke it is, with the shimmery papers, and ever so trendy! Too bad about the little mishap, however, that doesn't mar how marvelous it is. Great to hear you're on the mend and even though recovery 'seems' slow, it needs to be so that all things will be right for down the road. Your sense of humour hasn't been dampened whatsoever! Knitting, you say? And pine cones? Photos, please! And how sweet of your husband to bring your card-making supplies nearby; their presence will, I'm sure, spark your mojo. If not, do check out some of the Christmas blogs (Muse Christmas is fabulous!). I have...let's see...a whole three Christmas cards done...Once I get over the Halloween infatuation (I'm not 'that' big a fan, just happen to like the cute images...and having a little niece and nephew to create for is the perfect excuse for dabbling with non-scary ghosties, mummies and vampires), I'll start on those. Ideas are sparking...Send many hugs and much love to you, dear friend! Carry on mending, and I'll carry on shipping positive vibes your way! Oh yes...extra hugs for your husband! Let him know I'm tickled pink he likes my mummy cards!

  5. Hello, wonderful Carole...on this cool, frosty morning, your comment has warmed me up immensely! If we lived closer, I'd be inviting myself over and we'd create Christmas card after Christmas card after Christmas card! And we'd laugh yourselves silly! Hope you get a chance to do some designing this week...I most certainly will keep an eye on this space!!

  7. Am with you on the Halloween thing - drives me nuts! Cannot see the point of it at all!
Christmas will be here soon and I have made a few (she says with smug expression!!) - truthfully if I had my way they'd all be coming out of M&S/Tesco/similar packs but can't put up with the 'where's my hand made card' moaning that goes on.
Like this excellent man card very much Carole! xx

  12. HI Carole! Thank you for you kind comments on my blog. It's about time I made it over here! I'm now a follower which rounds out your follower number nicely too. LOL. I quite like your computer card. I love the glossy silver paper you used. Take care and hope your mojo comes back soon! :-)

  13. I think masculine cards are the hardest to make and the colours and graphic artwork on this one is great Carole. The craft mojo always does a disappearing trick on me when I'm under the weather and I'm sure yours will come running back when you feel a bit better. Look after yourself.
