Happy Anniversary

Hi there my good friends! Phew I thought I would just rush in before you all went off to do other things...hope I haven't missed you so glad if I caught you. Sorry to have been a bit short on the old posting...no excuse really...just life and I have to say the past few days I have been giving Rudolph a run for his money on the red nose stakes...I have no idea where this cold has come from but it can sure go back there.

Ok...you want to see a card... I have two for you, both on the same lines though...here goes.....

1)

  and 2)

Can you spot the difference?................lol

I just adore this die...a new acquisition I have to say...hangs head in shame here.......whatever happened to 'nothing new' ?

I used leather look card for my base......in white and then added the die cut. It cuts, embosses and de-bosses does this Spellbinders Diamond Floral and I inked through the die with distress inks in Bundled Sage and Spun Sugar. A few pearls and a touch...just a smidgen.... of Glamour Dust......apologies for bad photos.
The greeting stamp is from LOTV.....these are so fine and precise to stamp with. I hand cut the tag on the first one as I don't have a die that does fish tail banners ( I think that is the right name).

So any preference?  I have to say these were quick to make (for me thats a plus). I knew what I had in mind and they came together well.

So what have you all been up to this week? It has been a lovely week weather wise here, today being the warmest day...washing out!..and we all know what that makes don't we!! Looks like it is set to change for the weekend...hubby not happy...he says it always rains on a weekend and he likes to get in to the garden.

Welcome to my new follower Marie Louise. I do hope you keep popping in, like what you see and say hello too.

I guess I had better stop waffling and let you all get back to your evening or whatever. I have to say a big thank you to you all for stopping by and leaving me lovely comments that make it all worth while. I enjoy all your blogs...you all do amazing work and I am humbled to part of the gang.

Take care everyone, enjoy your week and I promise to try and be a better blogger. I have eldest son's Birthday card to do next...now there is a challenge.....

See you all soon............keep smiling. :)
Hugs

  9. Classy and elegant, Carole...and yes, I did spot the difference *grin*! The whispers of pink and green truly add impact...so pretty! Hope your cold is on its way out and that you're feeling much better! Our spring is taking time arriving; today, we're at a 'balmy' high of 5C, with a forecast for rain and the *s* word to happen. Hoping not the latter! My husband is teaching a cycling-coaching course in the 'big city' tomorrow (about 1.5 hours away), so if I get some DT cards completed, I'll be joining him. I'm ready for an outing and possibly some 'retail' therapy (beige sweater on the priority list). Hope my note sees you enjoying your Saturday! Mega thank you for visiting my blog and bringing such joy to my days! You're a gem! Good luck with the 'guy' birthday card...

  12. How did I miss seeing these when you posted them? You didn't pop up on the reading list - shall put Mr Blogger on the naughty step...
These are 2 lovely cards Carole and am swooning over that die!
(I use the corner from a nestie rectangle for the end of a fishtail banner cheapskate that I am! Works fine as long as you use tacky tape to hold it securely!) x
