New Home

Hello my friends! Another week gone! Why do they go so fast? Hubby has had 4 days off this week painting outside(doors and sheds, nothing artistic) before the weather breaks and he has gone back to work today...I know Friday!...says its for a rest! so now I keep thinking it's Monday today!

My card is a New Home card that I did for my son and daughter-in-law as they moved a few weeks ago to a different part of London.
Quite plain and I left the front plain just in case they may want to put it in a frame on the wall.......ah well perhaps not.

The white line on the front is just to blot out their address and respect their privacy although I think you might be hard pushed to read it. The card speaks for itself  in it's making, squares and triangle cut with nesties....clean and simple.

It's trying to rain here, a light drizzle...I wish in away it would pour down and give the gardens a good soaking.
Nothing planned this weekend, how about you? I hope that whatever you do the weather doesn't spoil it for you.
Thank you so much for stopping by and take care friends till next time.
Hugs
Carole.xx

I am entering this in Fantastic Tuesday Challenge #46....square card.

  1. This is such a brilliant design for a new home card! Love the way you've used the map and such a lovely personal touch to use their address for it. It should definitely be framed!

  2. Hi Carole, I had to have a closer look at the map. Great card and a brilliant idea. I went to school in that area, although it is no longer there. It was a Catholic convent, grammar school. Just by the station. We used to go to Battersea Park a lot!! Now I'm a country bumpkin!Lol! Hugs, Carol S.xx

  4. Brilliant to the max, Carole! Using a 'real' map as the 'inside' of the house images is perfect to acknowledge a new home/move! Clever, eye-catching and, especially, very personalized! They'll absolutely adore it, as do I! Happy August...time does fly!!

  6. What a fab idea Carole, looks very effective! Love the green mount to match the green on the map. I'm sure it'll be on the wall, or at the very least, come out of the cupboard when you visit... Only joking Carole, can't resist being cheeky! xxx

  8. Hi Carole - what a brilliant idea for a new home card - love the way you used that part of the map where your Son and DIL are going to live - AWESOME!
The weather here in West Yorkshire has been mixed this weekend - warm and sunny, then heavy downpours of rain - very weird!
