Sympathy

Hi friends...How are all? Good I hope and enjoying this sunshine, although it has clouded up here in West Yorkshire this afternoon.

This is my share today, we just sometimes have to make these cards and send them...Sympathy. I just had to do that this week. I sent the first one...and it didn't arrive...so I made a second one...same design, different colour and sent that. Guess what?....yes they have both arrived, so double the sympathy.

The circle was cut with a Spellbinder die and then coloured with pan pastels. I then stamped the flowers in black Versafine and embossed them in fine a WOW ebony black. the grasses were just stamped (2nd generation)...no embossing. The rest speaks for itself
The stamps are some Craftwork Cards stamps that I have had in my stash for awhile...thought they deserved to see an ink pad!

Here is the second one I made.

I think I prefer the second one! Which do you prefer?

Right lots to do...an exciting weekend to look forward to. More on that next week. Hoe you all have a great weekend whatever it has in store for you, and Thank You for all your lovely comments that you leave and indeed for taking that precious time to stop and take a peek.

Take care
Hugs
Carole xx

  1. Hi Carole, They are both lovely cards but I agree with you. The colours of the second one, I think just gives it the edge. Have a lovely weekend. Hugs, Carol S.xx

  2. Hiya Carole! These are really lovely, what a great combination of ideas! I love that you have a done a C&S with one die cut circle that has amazing detail. Would love to see the side view with the light shining on the embossing, bet it looks great. Yes my favourite is the second too, maybe it's the sunset, very tranquil. The sentiment stamp is very timeless and elegant too, where is it from?
I like the thought that the recipient got both the cards, double the love received.
Enjoy your weekend! I'm off to the opticians to get myself some prescription sunglasses for all this sunny weather! xxx

  3. This is such a beautiful design, I love the flower stamp! I really like both colour schemes but if I had to choose a favourite I'd pick the blue one! Hope you had a lovely weekend and enjoyed the sun.
