Smile Please!

Hi blogging friends.......... Smile please it's a Bank Holiday weekend! and at this point I wish you all  a good one. Lets hope the weather is kind to us all.
OK on with the card......smile please, another male card, quite quick and easy........and if you read my last post I am still on with said sons card and fast running out of time, the inspiration is just not there :(    just taking a few minutes out and a cuppa to do this post. I often find I see things better if I walk away for a while and come back to them...here's hoping eh!

The camera is my Dreamies stamp and I used Diamond Glaze on the lens but it doesn't show in the photo. The film strip is from the same stamp set and I stamped it on acetate...... the rest is from my stash...yeah I have used some up! I used Kraft card for my card blank and matting for a change, and quite like it.
Right well I had better get back to that other male card and see if I can convince myself not to be too much of a perfectionist. I'll be giving it to him tomorrow night as we are going out for a meal so best get a move on!
I'll show you next week...if I like it that is!

Take care everyone and thanks so much for stopping by, I do appreciate you doing so and you make my day if you leave me a comment.

Hugs
Carole xx

  1. GReat card Carole. It's funny, but this weekend I have to make a card for my older sister's husband. He was a photographer and they had a business in Ascot. He did commercial photos, not weddings. Like you, I struggle with men cards. I don't get much emjoyment from making them either. Have a lovely weekend. Supposed to be warm on Sunday!Lol! 4. This is fabulous! I love the textured card for the camera and the way you've curved it. The acetate film strip is a great embellishment too, I've never thought of stamping on acetate. Looks brilliant! xxx
