Hi friends!
I am not mentioning either of the C words (Christmas/Covid in case you didn't know) I am just popping in with a 50th card I made for someone special........
Made with love from Crafters Companion stamps and dies (not sure on the origin of the Happy Birthday) and paper from an old LOTV pad....which I love.
The flowers were coloured with Copics and glittered with a clear glitter pen though you cannot see it very well in the photograph, and the balloons were stamped in wilted violet distress oxide ink and then glazed with clear embossing powder a couple of times.
I think I will pop over to the playground and see if anyone is there! as all the flowers and sentiment were made from snippets.
I hope you are all having a good week and are keeping well.
Thank you so much for stopping by, your visits cheer me no end.....take care and see you soon.
Love Carole xx

Snippets Playground #391----------(all the flowers and sentiment from snippets)
It's such a bright and happy creation Carole and is sure to brighten the recipients day.
ReplyDeleteI've always planned to make a pop up card yet still never done so, one day!

WOW - that's a fantastic pop-up card Carole. Must've taken a while!
ReplyDeleteI'm in the Playground in my usual place, with the usual suspects . . . come and join us. Wrap up warm . . . although I DO have a little something in a flask that might warm you up!

That's amazing, its so pretty and happy with the explosion of all those wonderful coloured flowers. I love the way you incorporated the '50' its subtle but still visible. This is a triumph Carole and I hope you're keeping well in light of this difficult year x
ReplyDeleteOh Wow! Your friend is going to love this!! It's spectacular! Bravo to you and thanks for not mentioning those C words Lol!!
ReplyDeleteSqueal! Carol, this is utterly gorgeous! You are so clever and I love how the 50 is there but still a bit discrete. I spotted earlier that you thought you'd had problems linking - there was a failed attempt in the inner workings of Mr Linky but then you'd managed fine. I did amend your successful attempt to point straight to this wonderful pop up card. It's always a way round it though to use your generic URL if you get into a pickle.
ReplyDeleteBeen wondering how you're doing in the run-up to Christmas. When all is said and done, many people don't have happy memories to help them through the Festive Season and it can be hard. However, you seem to have a lovely family as well as a kind heart. I wish you peace and good memories - remember, you still have new ones to make. Baby steps dear girl, one at a time. So proud of you for being a friend.

Hi Carole
ReplyDeleteNot sure what is going on but this didn't make an appearance on my dashboard.
I have removed myself as a follower and re-followed you. I am finding I am having to do this with quite a few blogs recently.
But hey ho .. .. I am here now!
A really stunning and beautiful card. I love your choice of colours and the gorgeous stamps and dies you have used.
What a lucky recipient to receive such a masterpiece. Definitely one to keep!
