Birthday 'Blues'

Hello friends
Well where did June go then? I can't believe we are already into July, the longest day is past....I won't go on and depress us all.

Here is a card I made for my friend...the one we had the wine incident with. She was 21 again this week so I have had to wait to blog this creation.

The stamps are Heartfelt Creations.... all belonging to the Arianna blooms collection that I splurged on the other week, they are gorgeous and such a delight to use. I love how the flower turned out, somehow the stamping on it seems to bring it to life. The background paper is from LOTV Promises solids pad. Pearls from stash.

I have had a busy week creating but they must wait a little longer........and no time in between to produce anything that not has a reason if you get my drift.

Thank you for stopping by and for the lovely comments that you leave me.
Take care friends and enjoy the weekend...weather not forecast to be good...sorry...depressing you I know. Maybe rain means more crafting ?

  4. My eldest has just looked over my shoulder and said 'ooo I like that card!' (he's very appreciative of handmade creations!), then the little one jumping up to see came and looked and said 'but where's the car?'. 'He said card not car', I said. 'Oh, I like that card!' the little copycat replied. Then added 'I like that flower'.
    Me too Carole! xxx

  6. A beautiful card Carole - love the diecut frame and the flowers. Gorgeous colours too.
The weather has been warm and sunny here in West Yorkshire, but I have been indoors crafting all day - many of the roads have been closed to traffic due to the Tour de France - rather annoying for those of us who are not interested in cycling (or is that just me)!
Enjoy the rest of your weekend - Sylvia xx

  7. Hi Carole! Well, I know your friend will absolutely love this card! Those flowers ARE beautiful and you did such a GORGEOUS job with them! How sweet of you to make this for her! :)

Well .. I do hope that you'll have more time crafting since time will be spent indoors. ;) Hope you're having a lovely weekend Sweetie!

    Big Hugs,

  8. Hi Carole, this is super gorgeous. And I will need to go off now and check out those stamps - and maybe treat myself!

The die I used in my Papertake card is from a My Favourite Things Die-namics set called Blueprints 15. I am addicted to the whole Blueprints range and not a card gets made now without one of the dies. I got mine from Dies to Die For but I just checked and they are out of stock. But I know Craft Mojo and My Mums Craft Shop also stock Die-namics. Hope that helps, Liz x
