Tulip from ?

Good evening friends.
It's been a little while since my last post due to various things getting in the way of crafting. I am now trying to catch up on cards that I have to make for certain people and occasions.

Right back to the Tulip from?....Indigo Blu!! not Amsterdam.
I treated myself (well we have to don't we) to the new 'Lace' set from Indigo Blu and this fabulous tulip is one of the stamps. The detail on this is just incredible, in fact it is on all the stamps, they are wonderful and I now have a growing collection ,some I am ashamed to say still un-inked!

I inked the stamp with Distress inks...worn lipstick and peeled paint and the Happy Birthday is from a Uniko Studio set.
A bit of pricking round the edge and matted with foam pads on some Bazzill bling card.
I wanted the image to do the talking so no glitter on this one.
I am pleased with how it turned out, might have to try some different colourways.

Right must away back to the craft room. I have two mens cards to make ....aaarrgh I hate mens cards, and also one for my Mum for Sunday.

Hope all you enjoy your Mothers Day and are spoilt to death. My eldest son is taking me out for dinner...lovely...don't know where we are going...  'wait and see' was the reply when I asked! Anyone heard of a restaurant of that name ??

Till next time, thanks for stopping by and take care, and if you leave me a comment you will make my day!

Carole xx

P.S. I have entered this in the Indigo Blu Challenge......Spring Blossoms.

  1. Hello Carole! Good to see another creation, and how beautiful! So simple and elegant, it really does stand out by itself with all the detail doesn't it? I like the pricked holes too, you might see some appear on one of my cards in the future! Lovely effect.
I've heard of 'wait and see' - rave reviews, 5*, just perfect for a 'you're the best mother in the whole world' treat - I'd put your best frock on if I were you! Have a lovely time!
My eldest has just brought something home from pre-school and hidden it in his bedroom to give me on Sunday, I'm very excited!
    Lots of love,
    Emma x

  2. Lovely card Carole ...... I really like the CAS look. Thanks for joining in with the IndigoBlu Challenge ...... You need to put a link back to the challenge post though to be in with a chance of winning ..... good luck!
Have a nice Mother's Day too .... I'm sure the restaurant will be lovely. Linda xx

  3. You're right, the detail certainly is gorgeous and you've made such a perfect card that shows it off so well. Good luck with your male cards - not my favourite either, I hate not being able to use the trusty flowers and butterflies!

  4. This is gorgeous. A perfect clean and simple. Enjoy your day on Sunday - your blog post made me smile!
